Okay, so my 360 got the ring of death and it's currently in Texas getting repaired. I borrowed my friend's old xbox so I could at least play Halo 2 online, but I can't get my xbox live card to work. If I got a 48 hour free trial with Crackdown, will that code still work for a regular xbox? I've tried recovering my 360 gamertag but I don't remember the information I used for it, so it's just sayin the ifo doesn't match up. I think I'll just take my harddrive to my cousin's, plug it in, and read all that stuff. I still would like to know if my 48 hour would work though, thanks in advance...

If you at least know the credit card number of your account you can call microsoft to get your email for your 360 account to transfer it to another 360. It won't work to transfer it to a normal xbox though just so you are aware.
