They say that in CE you could potentially throw a grenade at a pile of other frags and it would start a chain reaction. I've had this happen once or twice in H3 but never in Halo: CE, anyone care to explain this in more depth?

well i have played it and i have seen it but never had it happen to me cause i know in halo could do it.....

i havent heard of it being done with frags but ive seen it being done with plasmas.. it rocks!

I've done it with plasma many times. one fun thing to do is to go on one of the snow levels on coop and keep having player 2 fall down an elevator shaft untill it's full of grenades. then just stick him before he goes down and watch the fireworks.

Yea, it can happen. Like young said, its how you warthog jump. You keep killing someone who has nades next to a warthog, so when the fall, their grenades land underneath the hog. Do it until you have a pile of frags under there, throw a frag in, and BOOM! Each one explodes, sending the hog. .well.. flying.

Yeah, those were fun times. It's fun to launch warthogs by doing that. of course, if you're not quick enough, the grenades will dissapear.

it did with plasma grenades, I loved it, especially levels like AOTCR where there are a bunch of em..

lol i did it in halo ce and killed 3 people

Basically, a line of inactive grenades can be set off by an active one and explode systematically. I personally made a gun that fired inactive grenades and then used it to create an atom bomb on the level silent cartogapher.

The same happens in H3 except it needs to be a live grenade
