A little while ago I tried to download 25 dollars worth of microsoft points but got an error message that said that the system could not perform my request to buy microsoft points and to try again later. I try about 15 times and it finally works. This morning, my dad looks at the American Express account and sees that I bought 947 dollars worth of Microsoft points.
WTF?
We're working it out with American Express but this is definitely a problem with microsoft. The 360 has good games, ect. but it certainly screws you over in almost every way possible. My system has been in the repair shop 4 times, and now xbox live is charging me over 900 dollars for 25 dollars worth of merchandise.
The moral of the story: Make sure you are extremely careful when attempting to buy things off of the xbox live marketplace. If you get an error message telling you to try again later, wait a couple of hours if not an entire day to try again.
